We arrived in Buenos Aires this morning, around 10am, after a very long and uneventful flight. 3.5 hours to Dallas, 3 hours layover and then 10.5 hours to BA. We’re here in body; not quite yet in mind. It’s hot and sticky and the city looks wonderful. It feels very European with the French architecture and cobbled streets lined with Plain Trees. It’s bustling and something different is occurring on every street corner. There are many cafes from which to sit and watch the city move around you. Tonight we’ll find some dinner in the hip Palermo neighbourhood near our hostel and then I expect we’ll relax with our guide books and decide what to see and do over the next week.
